AirportMiles airport dataset — airports.json and airports.csv in this folder Licence: CC0 1.0 Universal (public domain dedication) https://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0/ Full legal code: https://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0/legalcode To the extent possible under law, AirportMiles has waived all copyright and related or neighbouring rights to this dataset. You can copy, modify, distribute and use it, also commercially, without asking permission and without naming us. A link back to https://airportmiles.com/data is welcome, not required. What it is built from, both free of restrictions: - OurAirports (public domain) — codes, names, positions, elevation, size: https://ourairports.com/data/ - Wikidata (CC0) — the city each airport serves, Wikidata IDs: https://www.wikidata.org/ Not in these files, on purpose: - Time zones. They come from timezone-boundary-builder, which is under the ODbL, so they are shown on the website only and not republished as data. - Traffic numbers (passengers, flights, airlines). Each statistics office has its own terms; see https://airportmiles.com/sources and the "sources" block of every file in the JSON API (https://airportmiles.com/api). No warranty: the data is offered as is. Check codes and positions against an official source before using them for anything where a mistake matters (flight planning, navigation, legal documents). Fixes: correct the source at OurAirports or Wikidata and the change arrives with the next monthly refresh, or write to hello@airportmiles.com.
